Unsuited and Unbooted
Unsuited and Unbooted, a one day event that was the brainchild of five business women, each running their own businesses in the South West, who decided that there was a real gap in the market for something that served the needs of women working in the region.

Unsuited and Unbooted pronounced a big success by women in the South West!
The sun shone down on delegates and exhibitors at the region’s first event aimed specifically at women in the South West looking for inspiration and guidance in the business world. Unsuited and Unbooted took place on Friday 21 May 2010 and was attended by over 150 women who enjoyed a day of workshops, activities like archery and clay pigeon shooting and motivational seminars from Saira Khan, star of the first BBC Apprentice series.
Women attending came from all over the South West as well as from Somerset where the event had the ideal venue at The Monks Yard, Horton Cross, near Ilminster. There was even a dray ride that transported delegates to the outdoor activities....

The popular BBC show The Apprentice is back on our screens and attendees at a brand new event aimed at women in the South West will have the chance to meet Saira Khan, runner up in the very first series, who will be the keynote speaker and running workshops at Unsuited and Unbooted (www.unsuitedandunbooted.co.uk ).
This important event has been organised by five enterprising women, all of whom have thriving businesses in the South West. It is sponsored by leading solicitors Porter Dodson and Business Link South West with the aim of providing a mix of activities and workshops that will help all women, whether running their own businesses or working for companies or organisations in the South West....
