The famous Blue Flag Blackpool Sands beach, is 5 minutes in one direction and Slapton Sands, a 3 mile shingle ridge flanked by freshwater Slapton Ley, a national nature reserve, 5 minutes in the other. This village is also a gateway to the coastal path that extends from Dartmouth, via Blackpool Sands, Strete Gate and on to Slapton Sands and beyond.

It is available in July and August for £1576 per week, decreasing in price to £1231 per week for the week beginning August 24. This works out at £197 per person per week based on 8 people sharing or £154 per person per week at the end of August based on 8 people sharing.

Cornwall has many dog friendly beaches which are open to dogs all year round and one of those is Downderry Beach near Looe. Rose Cottage at Downderry is also a very desirable destination for dogs. This spacious and comfortable three-bedroom cottage dates back to the 17th century and has plenty of history, character and charm and it also has a small garden and decking area where Rover can stretch out and enjoy his or her holiday. The property sleeps 7 plus dog and it is close to Cornwall’s many beaches and tourist attractions.

Tides Reach is set alongside the tidal waters of the beautiful Yealm estuary between the twin South Devon villages of Noss Mayo and Newton Ferrers, where calm waters lap the banks of the lane a few feet from the front door of this utterly charming cottage.
