Leah Allen, owner and creator of The Boxed Party Company says, “I have always got a real buzz from organising my own children’s parties and just love the thrill of pulling everything together into one special day. It’s a bit like the lead up to Christmas for me, all the lists and things to do. “For each of the parties I have organised someone has always commented on how amazing it has been and how they could never have done it. With this came a realization that what I am able to do quite naturally can be for many a genuine challenge and often leaves them with a feeling of real dread. So I decided to pass my knowledge, enthusiasm and advice onto others by creating readymade parties, where all the stress and hassle has been taken away.”
Before she became a mother, Leah worked as a Trend Predictor for a large DIY store where she would put together once or twice a year a manual of colour and interior trends. She then went on to run her own Interior Design business and her strong sense of colour co-ordination can be seen in all her products. Time and thought has gone into each theme addressing all the main elements of a party by providing helpful hints, itineraries and running orders for the day making sure that everything has been considered so the party is organised and runs smoothly. Party in a Box also gives additional helpful hints and advice on the blog, website and Facebook, including four fantastic ideas for themed birthday cakes.
Leah continues, “We all strive to give our children the very best and a high quality traditional birthday party for our loved ones is no exception. My aim is to turn birthday parties into extra special memories, providing parents with all the help and advice needed to create that truly special day.”
