Case Study: Corrymoor Doubles Sales

Corrymoor Socks produces a range of outstanding luxury mohair socks that are exclusively manufactured and knitted in the UK. The company were looking to expand their customer base and raise their national profile and so approached A Head for PR.

With a carefully targeted PR campaign we achieved some great national coverage for Corrymoor Socks in key lifestyle magazines such as a three page spread in Good Housekeeping profiling Corrymoor founder Jenny Whitley. With a readership of 1.7 million the AVE (Advertising Value Equivalent) was around £187,500.00 and the coverage doubled sales for Corrymoor in January of 2010. However, we didn't stop there and also got Corrymoor Socks into another well read glossy magazine, Country Life, as well as The Independent newspaper and prime regional media including the regional TV news magazine programme Spotlight, BBC TV news magazine and the Western Morning News, Express and Echo and Devon Life.
